Train ride to paradise

I arrived in Mumbai yesterday with no delays. Yes! Met Pat and checked into a small hotel in the Juhu beach section of this chaotic city. Got a little sleep and barged to the train station to catch a train to the State of Goa due south of Mumbai. The train ride was 10hrs and we just arrived to Palolem, after a taxi ride from the train staton in Margoa. Palolem is a beach town known for wild parties and hedonism, and high grade.. sounds like my style! During our train ride I got to see a lot of the countryside, and we met some very nice natives who were friendly and interested in our travels. Upon arriving Pat and I were charged by a steer (yeah, a cow with horns!!!!) who was upset when a pack of stray dogs attacked it on the roadside. Pat was nearly hit with a horn after we both dodged the the bullet.. in hindsight it was kind of funny.. Anyhow, It is dark here now but we will be waking up just feet from the beach. I gotta sip some brews and relax. Been travelling via plane, train, bus, rickshaw, and taxi for the last 48hrs. Well worth it!! After chillin out on the beach tommorrow... We will be planning a trip to some Shiva temples in Gokarna, a town about 20 min. from our place. Wish I could upload some pics from the train, but Im in a ghetto cyber cafe and I am pressed for time... There closing. 1am. More to come very soon... Namaste'
